III Checking up hometask

IV  Brainstorming

You know we live between the Aral sea and Baikonur city . Aral sea is a dying sea , shrinkage of the sea  brings ecological problems, people who live around the sea suffer from serious deseases. Baikonur is the  place of  launching  of spaceships into space .There are advantages and more disadvantages of sending spacecrafts. Now today we are going to speak these problems .

  • I divide you sheets of papers ,there arewritten the names’of your groups.

The first group is “Knowledge  “

The second group is “ Comprehension “

The third group is “ Analysis and Synthesis “

Let’s see this film .        What is about this film? What do you think?

  • The first group – you must speak what you know about this pollution
  • The second group –you must speak about the ecological disaster
  • The third group – you make analyze and synthesize

To analyze is to break into small parts for careful study. To synthesize is to bring together and combine in a new way.

V  Reading the text  “ Climate change’’

      Translating

      Mark the parts of Speech

   Giving true and false answers

VI  Grammar Revision

If we want to speak English we must know grammar ,because the  action ,the result will be true and clear.

Now let’s revise the grammar .

 The Second Conditional

The Second Conditional is used to talk about 'impossible' situations.

  • If we were in London today, we would be able to go to the concert in Hyde Park.
  • If I had millions dollars, I'd give a lot to charity.
  • If there were no hungry people in this world, it would be a much better place.
  • If everyone had clean water to drink, there would be a lot less disease.

Note that after I / he/ she /it we often use the subjunctive form 'were' and not 'was'.

If she were happy in her job, she wouldn't be looking for another one.

  • If I lived in Japan, I'd have sushi every day.
  • If they were to enter our market, we'd have big problems.

Note the form 'If I were you' which is often used to give advice.

  • If I were you, I'd look for a new place to live.
  • If I were you, I'd go back to school and get more qualifications.

The Second Conditional is also used to talk about 'unlikely' situations.

  • If I went to China, I'd visit the Great Wall.
  • If I was the President, I'd reduce taxes.
  • If you were in my position, you'd understand.

1.Read the sentences and think if they are true

      2. Imagine the following situations and answer the questions

      3. Writing . Complete the sentences

      a)  If I saw a volcano I would run away

      b) If I went through a forest I would admire the beauty of the nature

  c) If I found a treasure in the forest I would bring to my parents

 d) If I swam in a river I would be stronger

 e) If I climbed the mountains I would be happier

 f) If I were not lazy I would be the best of all

VII Conclusion

The Proton-M rocket has veered off course seconds after its launch from Kazakhstan's Baikonur space center . There were 600 tons of highly toxic heptyl, amyl and kerosene rocket fuels on board. In a few years wreckage of the rockets launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome will start falling down within the border between the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk RegionsPeople are afraid that after rocket stages drop, bodies of water and soil will be contaminated with rocket propellant hazardous to people's health - heptyl.

The Semipalatinsk Test Site (STS or Semipalatinsk-21), also known as "The Polygon", was the primary testing venue for the Soviet Union's nuclear weapons. It is located on the steppe in northeast Kazakhstan (then the Kazakh SSR), south of the valley of the Irtysh River. The scientific buildings for the test site were located around 150 km west of the town of Semipalatinsk (later renamed Semey), near the border of East Kazakhstan Province and Pavlodar Province with most of the nuclear tests taking place at various sites further to the west and south, some as far as into Karagandy Province.

The Soviet Union conducted 456 nuclear tests at Semipalatinsk from 1949 until 1989 with little regard for their effect on the local people or environment. The full impact of radiation exposure was hidden for many years by Soviet authorities and has only come to light since the test site closed in 1991.

From 1996 to 2012, a secret joint operation of Kazakh, Russian, and American nuclear scientists and engineers secured the waste plutonium in the tunnels of the mountains.[2]

And  the Aral Sea problems ,pollution of the Caspean Sea  are not only Kazakhstan ‘problem, are  the Global problems.

Salt and dust ,pollutant blown by wind pollute air ,land , water. It cause serious health problem .there are also social and economic problems .

If the Syr Darya and the Amu Darya bring the needed amount water in the Aral Sea , the Aral Sea will not lose the natural balance .

If we care about the environment ,we will be healthier ,we will live longer ,will breathe fresh air .
