The theme: Jamp

The aim of the lesson:  to present and practise frequency adverbs.

The objectives of the lesson:

Еducational: to activate listening and acting skills, to develop communicative skills and abilities, to revise the material about  "frequency adverbs"

Developing: to develop pupil`s knowledge, logical thinking, to improve reading, writing, speaking, listening comprehension skills through doing a lots of  tasks.

Bringing up: to motivate pupil`s interest in learning English, to bringing up pupils respect to their individuality.

The type of the lesson: revise lesson.

The methods of the lesson: Brainstorming, a pair work, demonstration, critical thinking

Visual aids: interactive board, pictures, cards, poster.

Literature: 1. Primary Colours    2. Pupil's  book   3. Activity book   4. vocabulary book

The procedure of the lesson:

I. Motivation

- Good afternoon pupils!

- How are you?

- How are you feeling today?

- We are active and confident.( in chorus)                                               

T:  I wish you that your thoughts will be sunny.

II. Checking up hometask

- Your hometask was Exercise 3 page 38. Answer the questions.

1. When is your birthday?

2. What month comes before your birthday?

3. What month comes after  your birthday?

4. When are your school  holiday?

5. What is your favourite month?

6. What month don't you like?

Exercise 1 page 38. Listen. Point and say the names of the month.

III. Phonetic drill. A new words.

IV. The main part of the lesson

1. Introducing with the theme and aim of the lesson.

Today`s we have  new grammar theme too. " Frequency adverbs ". Lets revise the material. What do you know about the frequency adverbs?

Is it windy in April? Yes, it's sometimes windy in April.

V. Warm-up: Sing a song.  Ex 4 p 41

VI.  Reading.

Jamp. Listen and follow. How can the children answer their questions?

Exercise 1. page  40.

1. There's a storm. Su, Leo, Paula and Jim are in trouble. This is terrible. Quick, let's put on our parachutes

2. One, two, three...jump

3. Look at the Adventure Car. It's got a parachute.

4. We're safe. And the Adventure Car is safe, too. It always knows what to do.

5. But Leo, what about our questions about the swollows?

6. Hmm. Let's look in a book. It's not so dangerous

Exercise 1. page  40.  Where are  Mike, David, Laya and Fiona? Match the words and the pictures. Draw the missing picture.

Exercise 3. page  41. Read about England. Colour the month.

VII. Hometask

---Your hometask pupil`s Exercise 4 at page 41. Find out about your country. Colour the months. Write about it.
