How my daily life has changed at university

University life is one of the most important parts of every person’s life. For most people this is the time when independent life starts. Time when you do everything without help of parents or teachers. In this essay I will describe how my daily life has changed at university.Firstly, new city. I was born in Karaganda, my childhood was spent there, but now I am in Almaty. This is a new experience for me. You need to explore new locations, use online maps every time, find cheap shops. This is great to improve yourself.Secondly, independent life. Probably, if I decided to stay at my hometown, my life would not change. However, now I am in Almaty’s hostel where there are not any parents or relatives. It means that I need to buy everything by myself, cook meals by myself. This is probably the best part of student life where you do all by yourself.Thirdly, studying. Study at university is different. I can’t say is it harder or easier, I can only say it is different. There are no teachers who check how you study. It means that you can do nothing, and nobody will say anything before the end of year.Finally, I understood how it is hard to move to another city. When I was young, I thought that it would be very easy to just move to another city to study there. But now I understand how hard it is. I miss my relatives, I miss my friends, I miss the peace of my city. Fortunately, we live in XXI century: we have Internet to chat with parents or to play games with friends. However, it is not enough.In the end, I would say that my daily life at university changed dramatically. I think it is good because this will give a lot of new experience and knowledge.
