1.Organization moment (greetings, checking up attendance, asking the day and the date);
T: -Good morning, students! How are you?
Cl: -We are fine. Thank you. And you?
T: - I am fine too. Thanks. Take your seats.
T: First, I devide you into two groups. My dear students come here and take these pictures that are cut into several sheets and collect them in right orders.
Who collect the first picture?
1 gr: We.
T: What is it?
P1: It`s the picture of “Baiterek”
T: If so your group`s name is “Baiterek”
The second group what picture have you collect?
P2: This is Khan Shatyry.
T: Yes, your group is “Khan Shatyry”
Now pupils please you have to vote your leaders.
By advising choose your leader?
Baiterek: Our leader will be Aidar.
Khan Shatyry: Aigul is our leader.
T: Thanks. Leaders your tasks are to assess your classmates in your groups. I`ll give the leaders sheets of papers of assessment and shapes. With the helping of shapes leaders assess the participants answers. (star-5, square-4, triangle-3)
Criteria for assessments to the leaders:
• leaders give the star if the learner takes an active part during the lesson, knows the rules of present and past simple tenses, and can retell the text in short;
• if the learner can make up sentences in present and past simple tenses, knows new words;
• if the leader read the text by missing mistakes in pronunciation knows new words, can`t ask questions.
Leaders assess the learners the whole lesson by using these shapes.
2. Checking up the homework:
Write an essay. “My Motherland” two pupils in each group read their essays.
Let`s revise our grammar material.
Teacher gives two worksheets for these groups.
