Teacher show the pictures about “ Food and drink” - What is it? - It is milk.

Phonetic drills game with flashcards knowledge Descriptors: 1. Look at the board. 2. Say the name of food. (less able ss.) 3. Make up a sentence(more able) Learners are divided into groups according to these cards. Then they should put cards into the basket. Task Teacher brings cards with different kinds of food and drink. Teacher gives to each group the words. Each group matches pictures with the words(less able) Scrambled sentences (less able) Descriptors: 1. Read the words. 2. Find the words. 3. I have planned to give more support and challenge to more able learners. I used different kind of tasks like activities with new words, dialogue, game, match the words with the pictures. All learners can understand the meaning of the new words and answer the questions with support of a teacher. Most able learners can make short sentences and find missing letter in words. Some learners can make sentences and answer the questions. |
With providing different kind of tasks like “make up a sentence”, “match the words with the pictures”, “play a dialogue with new words”, make a poster for theme “My favourite food”. |
