Educational system in Kazakhstan

     Schools in Kazakhstan start at the age of 6. the system of education at schools in the country is free of charge. It consists of preschool education when children go to the kindergarten at the age of 2 to 6. Children take the first steps in reading, writing and counting. As a rule, a child attends the school, located in the neighborhood. However, in big cities they are so-called special schools which offer additional subjects and languages. Student study Kazakh language in Russian schools and Russian language in Kazakh. Students can attend advanced courses in Physical, Math, Computing and others. They have a different subjects once or twice a week according to the timetable. So, they have a 6 or 7 various subjects a day. The study of foreign languages and development of computer skills of students is offer special importance. Secondary school students have a choice of either continue or enter vocational or technical school

The American system of Education

    

The American system of Education differs from the systems of other countries. There are free public schools and the majority of American children attend them. Education is compulsory for every child from the age of 5-6 up to the age of 16 except in some states, where children must go to school until the age of 17 or 18. There are three main stages: Pre-school, Junior high school and High school. Children from the age of 5 up to the age of 11 attend Pre-schools, from the 6th grade up to the 8th grade students attend the junior high school. It is a sort of halfway between primary school and high school. The High school (from the 9th grade up to 12th) prepares young people either to work immediately after graduation or for more advanced study in a college or university. An important part of high school life is extra-curricular activities, they include band or school orchestra, sports and other social activities. There are colleges and universities. They may be small or large, private or public, highly selective or open to all.

The grammar theme of the lesson: Articles

 There are two kinds of Articles in English language. They are: Definite and Indefinite articles.

 Definite articles are “a” and “an”. We will use article “a” before the consonant sound. And article “an” we will use before the vowel sound.

Indefinite article is “the”. This article is used when we update item.
