The theme of the lesson: How green you are?
The aim of the lesson: To enrich the pupils vocabulary on the theme “Environment”
Expected results:
    А:  Pupils will be able to talk about environment, nature                                                                                        
       В:   Pupils will be able to develop the pupils’ skills of monologue speaking  using new expressions, to form the pupil’s imagination about the world, and equal problems of  human in XXI century
      C: Pupils will be able to  speak about pollution and its solution, to form their respect for the nature and make them realize the interaction between human and nature

The visual aids: The interactive board, presentation, texts, tasks.
The procedure of the lesson:
The organization moment
    Prepare the pupils for the lesson and create a comfortable situation at the lesson.
-    Greeting
-    Conversation with the pupil on duty
Stage of check of homework: Well, let’s check up the hometask. Your hometask was to review tense. Today you’ll do test on the computer.
Stage of aim – setting and motivation: Watching a video.
-    What can you say about this video?
-    How do you think our today`s new theme is?

Brainstorming: What is the environment?
Stage of actualization of knowledge:
    What can you say about ecological problems?
-people kill birds and animals
-people cut forests
-cars pollute air
-people dump rubbish
Do you help the environment?
Do you pollute water?
Are there any environmental problems in our village?
Are animals in danger?

Dividing into 2 groups: Water and Earth
Stage of generalization and systematization:
    Your task is to prepare the presentation about the nature. While presentation you should use the scheme which is called Fishbone. I’d like to remind you what it is. It’s a special scheme that helps us to structure the text. The main problems are put in the head, upper bones are used for reasons (why the problem exists), lower bones are used for facts proving the existence of the reasons. Facts give the problem clear outlines. Your notes should be short. Use key words, contractions and exact details from the text. In the end you should come to the conclusion (or find possible ways to solve the problem) and put it in its tail. You will choose one representative from each group to announce the answers.
It’s time to come to the conclusion. So, what can we do to improve the ecological situation? Work in groups and brainstorm the ideas. Are your ideas realistic? Can they be achieved in an everyday life?

Reflection: The topic of our today's conversation was very serious. There are a lot of problems but, unfortunately, we don’t have enough time to discuss all of them.
Today environmental issues are much spoken and written about on TV, radio and in the newspapers. Fortunately, it’s not too late to solve these problems. If we take actions now, there might be some hope for the future. Together we can save the planet and all of us with it. If we want to survive, we must do our best to solve these problems. It is important to join our efforts in the struggle for survival. We are responsible for preserving our planet for future generations. The life of future generations depends on our attitude towards environment and the way each of us treats nature.
We’ll have to stop now.
