At the beginning of the lesson, teacher greets the pupils and divides into two groups by numbers. T: Pupils, make a circle and divide into two groups choosing cards with the names of regular and irregular.   .

T: Ok, children sit seats by your chosen cards.

Let’s check your homework. Open your copybooks and I will look. Who is not ready for today? Your home task was:  SB ex.8 p.28

Brainstorming:  warm-up (2-3min)

With books closed, write My ideal home on the board. Ask students for some ideas about their ideal home. Give them a few ideas to start with  if necessary, by saying My ideal home is very big  and there’s a swimming pool in the garden.

Vocabulary practice:
T: OK. Now let’s write a dictation. All of you read these words at our last lesson and some of them you have already known. Repeat the words. You have 1 minute. Open your copybooks and write down the date and the word «Dictation»

T: We continue our work.

Ex 1. Read the model text and match topics 1-3 with paragraphs A-C.

All  lesson  and  learning  objectives were met. The lesson  was  exciting .  Students were always in  action and interaction.

Game style lessons  prove to be very  useful.

Most learners could identify new vocabulary.

They understood the meanings and differences between kinds of holidays and travel. Some students were able to bring it to life their own opinions answering the questions.




I could realize all prepared information according to the plan.



 All learners were able to answer the questions related to the text.

I found out that most learners have good skills in reading and matching activities;

Some students were able to demonstrate their own opinions according to the topic.

So, next time I will try to plan my lesson with tasks improving speaking, writing and listening skills.
